We run a series of live webinars for parents, carers and staff in educational settings. We also make the recordings available afterwards so you can listen and upskill at your own pace.

Our live webinars give you access to experienced members of our team who’ll offer their knowledge and expertise. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions during and after the sessions.

This webinar is for parents/carers and education staff who want to learn more about the best ways to support a child or young person who is unable to speak in some situations.

The nine parts go through how to put in place environmental support for children with SM and similar conditions, how to lay the groundwork for a successful small steps programme, and how and when to refer for further support.

This webinar looks at how to support narrative development across all age ranges and across the curriculum. It is divided into three parts of 10-15 minutes each to make it easier to watch.

We would recommend you watch all three parts in order if watching for the first time.

Part 1 provides the background knowledge that you will need to support children’s development of narrative skills. It introduces narratives and why they’re so important, as well as how children learn narratives and how they are structured.

This webinar is for parents/carers and early years practitioners who want to learn more about the best ways to support early language skills in young children. The child/children you support will be communicating using a combination of sounds and gestures.

The webinar goes through how to support children’s early language development using ten simple strategies you can practise at home or where care is provided.

It has been broken down into five parts of 10-15 minutes each to make it easier to watch. We recommend you watch all five parts in order if watching for the first time, but you could dip in to relevant parts if you wanted a refresher.
