You must dispose of your sharps box safely, please note the method of disposal is different according to where you live.

Never place your sharps box in your refuse wheelie bin.

The collection of full sharps bin varies from GP to GP Practice.

Families should contact their individual GP Practices who will either take the full bin or box, or will give you a form to submit to Aylesbury Vale District Council to arrange collection.

High Wycombe

Sharps bin or box disposal comes under the care of Chiltern District Council who can be contacted on 01494 586550.

They will then send you a form which should be returned to them to arrange collection of  the full bin or box.

Leighton Buzzard

Collection of full sharps bins are by Leighton Buzzard Council who can be contacted on 0300 300 8302 to arrange collection.
