This webinar is for parents/carers and early years practitioners who want to learn more about the best ways to support early communication skills in young children. It may be challenging to gain the attention of the child/children you support, and they may often prefer to play alone.
Joint attention is the shared focus of two individuals on a toy, object, or activity for the purpose of interacting with each other. It is an important part of a childās early communication development. This webinar shares information and advice on how to promote the development of joint attention through play.
This webinar is broken down into three main videos which are a maximum of 15 minutes long each to make it easier to watch. We recommend you watch all three videos in order if you are watching for the first time.
