Multi-disciplinary Day Assessment Unit (MuDAS)
About this Ward/Department
We provide a range of day services including patient assessments, treatment, therapeutic and clinical care.
Your GP might refer you if they feel you would benefit from an urgent and intensive medical review. In most cases, we’ll see you the day after your GP appointment.
You may need to have some blood tests, x-rays or tests including a therapy assessment. After we assess you, our team will offer help and advice and discuss any changes that we make to your treatment.
We’ll then develop a care management plan for you and send this directly to your GP on the same day that we discharge you. We may also arrange for you to have some therapy in the community or at home if you need it.
