Urology
We care for patients who have problems with their urinary tract systems and male reproductive organs.
We see patients with different types of urogenital cancer including major pelvic cancer surgery, an area in which we have considerable experience and expertise. Other areas of expertise include urinary stone disease and female urology/incontinence. We also perform laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery.
Our department provides a full range of urological investigation and treatment including emergencies, day surgery procedures and clinic appointments at Wycombe, Amersham and Stoke Mandeville.
If you need to stay overnight in hospital, we provide treatment at Wycombe Hospital.
We are in the process of developing an intermediate care service to allow patients access to a consultant led urology outpatient clinic close to their homes with one-stop investigation and management wherever possible.
