On receiving her award Liz said: “I am beyond honoured that PINNT have given me this award. Feeding tubes do save people’s lives. They transform people’s lives but they change people’s lives as well. As Health Care Professionals, it is our job to listen to them, to enable them to make the right choice of tube and to believe them. I will continue to advocate for my patients and strive to make things better for them.”
Carolyn Wheatley, Chair of PINNT said: “Liz always goes the extra mile for her patients, she does it naturally. Care and compassion are part of her DNA and nursing is a wonderful vocation that allows her to make a difference for people in need.”
