Maternity supports vaccination campaign
The Trust maternity team is promoting a campaign by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) to urge those who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy to get their COVID-19 vaccination.
Campaign posters are available in different languages to help get the message through to anyone who may have concerns and hasn’t yet had their jab.
The key messages are available in: Arabic, Bengali, Farsi, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and English.

The posters state:
- You are more at risk of complications from COVID-19 during pregnancy
- Your can have the vaccination at any stage of pregnancy
- It is safe in pregnancy
- You cannot get COVID-19 from the vaccination
- It is free
They also urge those who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy to book their vaccination via www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination, or by calling 119 or their GP.
