The urology department provides a full range of general urological investigation and treatment including emergencies across the Wycombe, Amersham and Stoke Mandeville sites. Inpatient treatment is located at Wycombe with day surgery at both Wycombe and Stoke and outpatient clinics on all three sites.
The department treats all types of urogenital malignancy including patients requiring major pelvic cancer surgery, an area in which we have considerable experience and expertise. Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery is available and other areas of expertise include urinary stone disease and female urology/incontinence.
We are in the process of developing an intermediate care service to allow patients access to a consultant led urology out patient clinic close to their homes with one-stop investigation and management wherever possible.
Private rooms are available in Wycombe Hospital to NHS patients who wish to pay for a little bit of extra comfort and privacy after surgery. These are available to Orthopaedic, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Urology patients. If you would like further information about this option, including prices, please call our Private Rooms Reservation Manager on 01296 315131 or click on the link here.
