Spoken narratives

This webinar looks at how to support narrative development across all age ranges and across the curriculum. It is divided into three parts of 10-15 minutes each to make it easier to watch.

We would recommend you watch all three parts in order if watching for the first time.

Part 1 provides the background knowledge that you will need to support childrenā€™s development of narrative skills. It introduces narratives and why theyā€™re so important, as well as how children learn narratives and how they are structured.

Part 2 looks at how we can support childrenā€™s narrative development from ages 4-16 years and some of the resources that are available.

Part 3 discusses setting targets that are relevant to the curriculum.
