Your child might be taking medication to help them think and to do daily tasks.
What’s the problem?
There has been a problem getting enough of this medication into pharmacies. You might find it hard to get enough tablets for your child.
Why is this happening?
More people need the medication, and the people that make them have changed.
How long will this problem last?
At least until January 2024.
What should I do?
- Speak to your pharmacist and GP if your child is taking medication for ADHD.
- Order your children’s medication 2 weeks before they run out.
- If you have problems getting the medication, speak to other pharmacies in your area or contact Community Paediatrics booking team for an appointment.
