Wycombe Birth Centre
We’re not currently allowing births at the Wycombe Birth Centre. The temporary closure continues due to the ongoing impact of the pandemic on our staff and our need to keep you and your baby safe.
I have appointments scheduled at Wycombe Birth Centre. Can I still attend?
Yes. You can still attend the birth centre for scheduled antenatal and postnatal care appointments.
What should I do if planned to give birth at Wycombe Birth Centre?
If you are currently considering your birthing options, or had planned to give birth at Wycombe Birth Centre, our birth centre team midwife will continue to support you.
Aylesbury Birth Centre has the same midwifery-led care which means you can maintain your birth plan. You also have the choice of a home birth or our consultant-led labour ward at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Your midwife will discuss all of your options with you.
Please contact your midwife if you have any concerns or questions.
Thank you for your understanding.
