Please note

We can only see patients with a pre-booked appointment. The only exceptions to this are:

  • Urgent blood tests:
    • These are available Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm (not on weekends).
    • If your GP has referred you for an urgent blood test, you may attend any blood test clinic without a pre-booked appointment. Please note: the blood test clinic opening times at each hospital vary, so please check the times for the clinic you plan to visit in advance.
    • Ensure your GP has sent the urgent blood test request electronically to the hospital. If not, you will need to bring the referral paperwork provided by your GP.
  • Outpatients:
    • If your hospital consultant has asked you to have a blood test during your outpatient appointment, you may visit the blood test clinic without a pre-booking to have the test before leaving the hospital.
