Welcome

Having a baby is an exciting time for all the family. At Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, we want to provide you with excellent care and support throughout your pregnancy and birth.

Our highly skilled and dedicated maternity team work closely with you and your family to ensure that you feel comfortable, cared for and in control at every stage of your pregnancy.

We are very proud to offer four places of birth, these include the labour ward at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, the Aylesbury Birth Centre, the Wycombe Birth Centre and a home birth service across the county. Please watch this short video to hear more about the services we offer.

Private rooms are available on the antenatal and postnatal ward. These provide you and your family extra comfort and privacy during your stay. If you would like further information about this option including prices, find out more.

COVID-19 Updates:

During the COVID-19 pandemic we have had to make changes to our maternity service to make sure we can minimise the risk of infection. These changes include restrictions on visitors for maternity appointments.

We have also had to temporarily suspend births at Wycombe Birth Centre.

Please check with your midwife and our maternity team for up to date details of these temporary changes.
