Our aim is to provide an integrated service for adults with acquired communication and/or swallowing difficulties across the various acute and community settings within Buckinghamshire. Our intention is to provide a service that is timely, efficient and value for money whilst maintaining high quality care and focusing on the needs of our clients. We can accept referrals for patients who are registered with a Buckinghamshire GP.
Long term conditions team - providing a community wide service to adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties
ENT team - providing a service to adults and children with voice disorders and adults with head and neck cancer
Dysfluency service - provision for adults who stammer
Acute team - providing assessment, advice and therapy to adults who are inpatients at Wycombe, Stoke Mandeville Hospitals (including the National Spinal Injuries Centre) and Bucks Neuro Rehabilitation Unit at Amersham Hospital.
