At Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) we know you expect our staff to take good care of you while you are a patient. It is our job to make sure the care we give is safe and of a high quality. We are always working to improve the quality and safety of care and improve the patient experience. We call this work our Nursing, Midwifery and Therapy Strategy. The strategy sets out our aims for care, and how we will achieve them.

The strategy sets out 7 aims, these are:
- To ensure safe care is delivered for all patients, their carers and families
- To ensure high quality, effective care
- To ensure care is delivered with compassion, respect, and dignity for all
- There will be adequate levels of staffing
- Improving patients’ experience
- A culture of innovative and effective practice
- Strengthen clinical leadership and innovation to deliver improved patient care experience
