Parking charges have been suspended effective immediately at all Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust hospital and community sites for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic for the public and staff.
Chief executive of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Neil Macdonald said: “In an effort to ensure that our healthcare workers can travel to work safely without using public transport during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to further support teams who continue to go above and beyond during these testing times, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend parking charges at all of our hospital and community sites.
“I believe that this will also ensure that the patients who need to attend our sites for urgent and emergency care during the COVID-19 pandemic can do so with as little contact with money, ticket machines and other people as possible.”
Please note that visitor restrictions are in place at all inpatient wards at Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe, Amersham and Buckingham hospitals. Click here for more information.
