Special interests: My main role is to help support the care of inpatients during acute episodes of illness, which is part of a team delivering education to health care professionals working in the ward areas. I am involved in the delivery of type 2 patient education when they are transferred to insulin therapy as well as the ongoing management of people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes cared for within secondary care and primary care through nurse led clinics
