Our facility is based at Amersham Hospital. It consists of an outpatient department and an inpatient unit, Buckinghamshire Neurorehabilitation Unit (BNRU). The facility is all on one level and this is critically important for patients, carers and staff. We treat patients with all sorts of neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis, head injury, spinal cord injury, orthopaedics, stroke, and post surgery.

Our team consists of a neuro-rehabilitation medical consultant, other medical support staff, neuropsychologists, a brain injury specialist nurse, an MS specialist nurse, neuro physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and podiatrists, with access to musculoskeletal physiotherapy, acupuncture and hydrotherapy.
Patients are offered help and advice via telephone helplines at Amersham Hospital and in-house patient education programs are held on a regular basis.
We have access to a range of diagnostic facilities, including xray, ultrasound, MRI and DEXA scanning for osteoporosis.
