The Clinical Outreach service is here to help you to deliver high standards of care based on the latest available evidence. The service can be delivered in your place of work, in the hospital library at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, by telephone or email; whichever is the most convenient for you.
The Clinical Outreach service is available to NHS staff employed by Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

The Clinical Outreach Librarian can conduct literature searches on your behalf for audit, guidelines, protocols, care pathways and research. This service is primarily available for clinical need and work-related research.

The Clinical Outreach Librarian can support you to update your searching skills with sessions face-to-face in your place of work, or in the hospital library at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
The service also offers tailored training for teams or specialist groups on searching for information on a particular subject, for example diabetes or palliative care.
