Buckinghamshire LINk
The Buckinghamshire Local Involvement Network (LINk) gives local people the opportunity to have a say on health and social care services. LINks are run by a network of people, organisations and groups who aim to speak on behalf of their local community, helping them to have a stronger voice.
The role of a LINk is to:
• ask local people their opinions about health and social care services in their area
• use its powers to speak to and influence service providers
• make recommendations on changes/improvements to services.
LINks exist in every county council area and their job is to listen to the views and concerns of the public, feeding them back to local authorities that provide these services.
For more information about Buckinghamshire LINk, please call 0845 0949497.
